There’s a rumor going around that WWE legend Hulk Hogan is on his deathbed, but it’s reportedly untrue.
On Wednesday morning, Tampa Bay-based radio personality “Bubba the Love Sponge” reported that Hulk Hogan was in the hospital, and that it was “not good.” Bubba claims to have heard through sources that family members were being told to come to town to bid goodbye to Hogan, and that the WWE Hall of Famer “might not make it.”
But according to TMZ Sports, the rumor about Hogan being on his deathbed is completely false. The outlet reports that Hogan was hospitalized this week “to address lingering neck and back issues”.
More from TMZ Sports:
“A rep for Hogan tells us the 71-year-old isn’t close to death — he’s just dealing with more of the same ailments he’s had for years. In fact, we’re told Hogan’s back to moving around already. Of course, we previously reported Hogan underwent a neck surgery just last month … but by all accounts, it was a big success.”

Hogan, who turns 72 in August, has dealt with numerous health issues in his post-wrestling endeavors. The Hall of Famer claims to have undergone 25 surgeries since 2014, including 10 back procedures, hip and knee replacements.
But Hogan has kept himself in strong physical shape, working out regularly and sharing videos of his shredded physique on social media.

Hulk Hogan Wrestled His Last Match For TNA In 2012

Hogan has been vocal about wanting one last wrestling match in WWE before calling it a career for good, but that’s obviously not going to happen given his age and lengthy injury history.
The Hulkster wrestled his final match for TNA on Jan. 27, 2012, teaming up with Sting and James Storm to defeat Bully Ray, Bobby Roode and Kurt Angle during a house show in Manchester, England.
